Job summary

AmeriPharma in Laguna Hills, CA is seeking a Billing Administrator to support billing, cash posting and collections, ensuring accurate records and timely reimbursements. You will collaborate with the billing, reimbursement, and payer teams daily.

The ideal candidate has 1–3 years in billing or clerical work, strong Excel skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• 1–3 years experience in billing, collections, clerical, or administrative support.
• Knowledge of ICD-10, CPT, HCPCS codes, and CMS HCFA 1500 form; electronic billing experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Retrieve and review Explanation of Benefits (EOBs).
• Assist with cash posting and unapplied cash reporting.
• Support patient balance adjustments and related tasks.
• Collaborate with Lead Biller and Lead Collector to ensure workflows.
• Enter and manage data in spreadsheets and Google Sheets.
• Prepare reports and internal documents as needed.
