Job summary

Quest Diagnostics is seeking a Billing QA/QC Representative Lead to manage quality control for medical billing processes from Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM PST. The role focuses on ensuring accuracy in billing workflows and delivering reliable performance metrics.

Responsibilities include supervising team QC assessments, maintaining feedback documentation, auditing quality reports, and providing input to management on agent performance.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma / GED or equivalent work experience
• 1+ years of medical billing experience
• Ability to use a computer and Windows PC applications, which includes strong keyboard and navigation skills and ability to learn new computer programs

Pay range: $24 - $30 / hour

Salary offers are based on a wide range of factors including relevant skills, training, experience, education, and, where applicable, certifications obtained. Market and organizational factors are also considered. Successful candidates may be eligible to receive annual performance bonus compensation.

Qualifications

Required Qualifications

• 1+ years of medical billing experience

Preferred Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in patient, client, or third-party insurance billing
• Previous experience coaching and training a team in a collaborative environment
• Laboratory billing experience
• Quality control experience in a billing/collections environment

• Previous work experience in a fast-paced environment requiring strong multi-tasking and problem-solving skills
• Ability to adapt to changes
• Ability to develop and maintain collaborative working relationships
