Job summary

Metro Electric Supply and Metro Lighting is seeking a Billing Clerk to review tickets and ensure accurate pricing, costs, and customer invoicing. The role collaborates with Purchasing, Sales, Operations, and Finance to maintain data integrity and timely invoicing across the ERP system.

The position requires a high school diploma or GED, basic Excel skills, and clear communication. Monday–Friday, on-site at our St. Louis location, with a starting hourly rate of $19.00 depending on experience.

Qualifications

• Experience in billing, pricing, and related business functions.
• Working knowledge of general accounting concepts.
• Basic knowledge of Microsoft Excel, including sorting, filtering, formulas, and data review.
• Ability to communicate clearly by phone, email, and in person.

Responsibilities

• Reviews sales tickets, orders, and related transactions for pricing, cost, item, customer, and vendor accuracy before billing or downstream processing.
• Ensure customer invoices and statements are issued accurately and on schedule.
• Maintain item, pricing, cost, customer, and vendor information in the ERP system with Purchasing, Sales, and Operations.
• Administer customer rebates, vendor rebates, special pricing agreements, and other pricing programs.
• Prepare and review recurring reports for sales leadership and management.
