Job summary

North Florida Pediatrics in North Florida is seeking a Billing Manager to lead our billing and revenue cycle operations within a busy pediatric practice. You will oversee patient billing, payments posting, and aging analyses to maximize accurate reimbursements and cash flow.

In this role you will supervise a billing team, ensure regulatory compliance (HIPAA and payer guidelines), and collaborate with providers, insurers, and patients to resolve denials and optimize the revenue cycle.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Healthcare Administration, Business, Finance, or related field.
• Minimum of 3 years in medical billing and collections, preferably in a managerial role.
• Strong knowledge of patient billing, third‑party billing, and electronic billing systems.
• Familiar with medical claims processing and healthcare reimbursement methodologies.
• Proficiency with billing software and EHR systems.

Responsibilities

• Manage and supervise the daily operations of the billing department, including patient billing and collections.
• Oversee the posting of payments and ensure accurate reconciliation of accounts.
• Coordinate electronic billing processes and maintain compliance with healthcare regulations and payer requirements.
