United Health Centers of the San Joaquin Valley is seeking a dynamic Director of Billing for our Fresno, CA corporate office. This exempt, in-person role leads the Billing Department to maximize revenue and ensure compliance with all payor requirements.

The Director will design and implement policies, oversee coding, charge entry, claims, and collections, and work with the CFO to drive department performance and strategic goals.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor's degree in Business or Health Administration or related field.
• Minimum of five (5) years Medical Insurance/Healthcare Billing and Collections experience in a healthcare setting, preferably a FQHC.
• Two (2) years supervisory or management experience preferred.

Aufgaben

• Oversee the billing department operations including medical coding, charge entry, claims submissions, payment posting, accounts receivable, follow-up, and reimbursement management.
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and private insurance carrier requirements.
• Prepare and analyze accounts receivable and weekly/monthly financial reports; lead process improvements.
