Job summary

AHMC Healthcare Inc. seeks a Full-Time Director of Revenue Cycle for Monterey Park Hospital. This role leads the Revenue Cycle department, coordinating workflows and technology, and interfaces with Patient Financial Services and clinical units to optimize reimbursement and cash collections.

Reports to the COO and guides policy implementation. Ideal candidate has hospital managed care experience, CPT/ ICD-10/ DRG coding knowledge, and strong leadership with cross-functional collaboration.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Finance, Healthcare Administration, or related field.
• Minimum 3 years hospital managed care experience.
• Strong knowledge of medical insurance billing, CPT, ICD-10, DRG coding, and medical terminology.
• Proficient in Google Workspace.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and manage Revenue Cycle workflows and technology within Revenue Cycle.
• Provide leadership, management, coaching, and strategy to senior leadership and department directors.
• Resolve escalated reimbursement issues with payors and provide revenue cycle status reports.
• Establish and ensure implementation of revenue cycle policies and procedures.
• Build positive relationships with physicians and medical groups; drive new business development with affiliated IPAs.
