Job summary

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Up to 1 year of basic technical training in health care billing/customer service.
• 3–6 months of previous experience plus ≤3 months of onboarding.
• Proficient knowledge of Microsoft Office preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform a variety of billing functions to minimize accounts receivable and enhance collection.
• Respond timely and courteously to inquiries from patients, physicians or insurance companies.
• Serve as a resource person for all department staff on billing and claims questions.
