Job summary

Modern Mechanical Services in Dallas, TX is seeking a dependable Part-Time Billing Clerk to manage invoicing for HVAC/R, refrigeration, and plumbing service and projects. This on-site role requires attention to detail and timely processing of invoices through customer portals.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of billing, accounting, or administrative experience (HVAC, construction, or facility services preferred).
• Experience with customer billing portals such as ServiceChannel, Corrigo, or Ariba preferred.
• Field service software experience a plus (ServiceTrade).
• Excellent attention to detail and organization.
• Strong communication and problem solving skills.
• Able to manage multiple billing queues and hit deadlines without close supervision.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and general office software.

Responsibilities

• Create and send invoices for completed HVAC/R, refrigeration, and plumbing service and project work
• Bill customer purchase orders with accuracy and consistency
• Submit invoices through customer billing portals (ServiceChannel, Corrigo, Ariba, etc.)
• Coordinate with operations and service teams to confirm job details and resolve billing discrepancies
• Maintain organized digital billing records and documentation

Position Overview

We are seeking a dependable and detail oriented Part-Time Billing Clerk to help manage job and project billing. This role is responsible for creating accurate invoices, billing against purchase orders, and submitting invoices through customer portals.

Schedule & Work Environment

• Part-time: 20 to 25 hours per week
• Flexible scheduling during standard business hours (Monday through Friday)
• On site in our Dallas office. This is not a remote or hybrid role.

Compensation & Benefits

• $20.00 to $25.00 per hour, depending on experience
