AEG Vision in Illinois is seeking a claims billing specialist to prepare invoices for 3rd party carriers and monitor aging to ensure timely payments for commercial products.

You will correct claim data in Acuity Logic, submit both paper and electronic claims, handle denials, run weekly/monthly reports, and provide daily support to management. The role includes onboarding new staff and collaborating with field operations to improve billing efficiency and profitability.

Qualifikationen

• 3 years AR experience with third party billing.
• Knowledge of insurance billing processes.
• Intermediate level PC skills in MS Windows, Word and Excel.
• Effective verbal and written communication to prepare concise reports.
• Demonstrated ability to work in a team environment.

Aufgaben

• Create claims invoices for 3rd party insurance carriers.
• Monitor aging to ensure timely payment for specified plans.
• Correct claim data in Acuity Logic prior to billing.
• Submit paper and electronic claims to carriers timely.
• Submit manual vouchers and invoices to plans that don’t accept claim forms.
• Interpret and follow up on claim denials from carriers.
