Job summary

RLI Insurance Company in Broadview Heights, OH, is seeking a Customer Accounting Specialist to assist with billing and collections for delinquent accounts. This in-office role runs Monday through Friday, 8:30am to 5:00pm, with focus on invoices, statements, and notices while maintaining high service levels.

The ideal candidate has a high school diploma, 1+ year of billing/collections experience, and preferably an associates degree in Accounting.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required; associates in accounting preferred.
• 1+ year of related billing/collections experience.
• Equivalent education/experience also considered.

Responsibilities

• Handle delinquent accounts and maintain collection records.
• Respond to inquiries via phone and email within set parameters.
• Prepare invoices, statements and delinquent notices.
• Reconcile balances and prepare journal entries as needed.
• Collaborate with internal/external contacts to resolve issues.
