Southern Glazer’s Wine and Spirits is seeking a Supplier Billing Clerk to manage supplier billing accounts and process chargeback paperwork to suppliers. The role focuses on collections, month-end backups, and automated bill-back interfaces to ensure accurate supplier payments.

Qualifications include a high school diploma with one year of experience, GAAP knowledge, and strong Excel skills for pivot tables and complex formulas.

• Knowledge of GAAP, federal regulatory guidelines, and organizational objectives.
• Proficiency with Excel pivot tables, charts, and complex formulas.
• Prior accounting/collection experience.

Responsabilités

• Clarify problems or issues presented by suppliers to facilitate collections.
• Compile month-end backups and send to BSG for final processing.
• Process month-end interfaces for all automated bill back.
• Process supplier quantity and financial depletions.
• Track monthly supplier bank recaps.
• Process incentive payouts for payroll and bill back and track individual sales payouts.
• Perform other job-related duties as assigned.

Overview

The Supplier Billing Clerk is responsible for the collection of supplier billing accounts as well as processing all chargeback paperwork (manual and automated) send to the supplier.

Primary Responsibilities

• Clarify problems or issues presented by suppliers to facilitate collections on their behalf
• Compile month‑end billing of; backups and send to BSG for final processing
• Process month‑end interfaces for all automated bill back
• Process supplier quantity and financial depletions
• Track monthly supplier bank recaps
• Process incentive payouts for payroll and bill back and track individual sales payouts
• Perform other job‑related duties as assigned

Minimum Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalency plus one year of experience
• Knowledge with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP), federal regulatory guidelines, and organizational objectives
• Proficiency using Microsoft Excel spreadsheets in creating pivot tables, develop charts, and complex formulas
• Prior accounting/collection experience

Physical Demands

• Physical demands include a considerable amount of time sitting and typing/keyboarding, using a computer (e.g., keyboard, mouse, and monitor), or mobile device
• Physical demands with activity or condition may occasionally include walking, bending, reaching, standing, squatting, and stooping
• May require occasional lifting/lowering, pushing, carrying, or pulling up to 20lbs
