Eyecare Services Partners is seeking a skilled Billing/Accounts Receivable Representative for a full-time role. Ideal candidates have 1–2 years ophthalmology billing and 5+ years in RCM/Medical Collections/AR. Excellent Excel skills and familiarity with NextGen PM/EHR are preferred.

• Audit AR balances and ensure payments are exhausted before posting adjustments
• Audit AR claim reports and ensure timely correction processing
• Audit cash posting reports
• Audit claims and excessive adjustments
• Audit credit balances
• Interact with insurance payers using payer websites to determine claim resolution
• Partner with revenue cycle leadership to resolve trends and barriers
• Demonstrate professionalism and confidentiality
• Provide assistance within the department as requested
• Respond to patients and insurance inquiries promptly
• Perform other duties as assigned

Eyecare Services Partners is searching for a skilled, full-time Billing/Accounts Receivable Representative. You must bring at least one to two years of experience in ophthalmology billing and five plus years of RCM, Medical Collections, Claims Processing, or AR experience to be considered for this position.

The Billing/Accounts Receivable Specialist Representative position is responsible for evaluating outstanding AR and communicating trends while working to recoup all potential funds. Responsibilities will include but are not limited to performing duties designated by the Revenue Cycle administrator, training staff, resolving targeted AR issues, file appeals, approve adjustments, and ensure maximum revenue capture. This role will reinforce the policies, procedures, protocols, and norms set forth by Eyecare Services Partners.

Responsibilities:

• Audit cash posting reports
• Audit claims, excessive adjustments
• Audit credit balances
• Interactive customer service with insurance payers, utilize payer websites determining claim resolution.
• Partner with revenue cycle leadership to resolve trends and barriers limiting effective revenue cycle processes
• Demonstrate professionalism and confidentiality
• Provide assistance within the department as requested
• Respond to all patients and insurance inquiries in a timely manner
• Other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

• Three years of patient collection experience
• Experience with Excel and Windows-based programs.
• Experience in performing tasks that require a basic understanding of accounting and math skills.
• Experience with insurance payers across varied geographical regions.
• Experience NextGen PM/EHR
• Required Experience:
• High School Graduate or General Education Degree (GED)

Required Experience:

• 1 - 2 years of Optometry and Ophthalmology billing expertise
• 1 - 2 years of RCM, Medical Collections, Claims Processing, or AR experience
• Advanced Excel ability.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
