Johnson Service Group is seeking a Billing & Payment Support Representative for a temporary position. Salesforce experience a plus! Our client delivers high-speed internet to rural and underserved communities across Central and Northern California and is seeking a Billing & Payment Support Representative for a Temporary assignment. Office hours: 8 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. (1 Hour lunch) Pay Range: $17.00 - $18.00 / Hour

We are seeking a detail-oriented, dependable, and patient Billing and Payment Support Representative to join their Customer Service team on a temporary basis. In this role, you will accurately and efficiently process customer payments received by phone, email, and chat, and provide friendly, clear support on related billing questions. You will help customers feel confident that their payments are handled correctly and securely, while providing excellent customer experience. You will also be an administrative support to the Customer Service team performing admin tasks as needed.

Essential Duties:

• Ability to communicate clearly, professionally and patiently with customers over the phone and through other communication channels like email and chat.
• Process customer payments accurately and efficiently.
• Review payment information for accuracy and completeness.
• Update customer billing and payment information as needed.
• Maintain accurate records of payment transactions in CRM system.
• Follow established payment processing procedures and company policies.
• Protect customer account and payment information and maintain confidentiality.
• Escalate payment issues or discrepancies that require additional assistance.
• Communicate professionally with customers and internal team members.
• Perform other related administrative duties to support the Customer Service team.

Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Reliable and organized with the ability to manage repetitive tasks consistently.
• Comfortable working with computers and learning new software systems.
• Ability to handle confidential customer and payment information appropriately.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to follow established processes and procedures.
• Previous experience in customer service, administrative, billing support, payment processing or a call center environment preferred but not required.
• Experience explaining invoices, recurring payments and account charges to customers preferred but not required.
• Bilingual Spanish skills are a plus but not required.
