Booz Allen Hamilton is seeking a Billing Analyst, Mid, to support government contracts billing within our Accounts Receivable team. The role focuses on setting up and maintaining contracts in Costpoint, reconciling modifications, and supporting internal and external audits.

Ideal candidates have 2+ years in government billing, proficiency in Excel/PowerPoint/Outlook, and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment. U.S. citizenship is required to join our team in Virginia.

The Opportunity

As a professional in Business Services, you have the experience and skills to ensure our Delivery Hub operations are effective, efficient, timely, and valuable for internal and external clients. You know how to interface with internal and external customers and leadership to understand needs and gain insight on Business Services performance.

As a member of the Accounts Receivable team, you will perform administrative, processing, and auditing responsibilities, including the set-up and maintenance of Booz Allen contracts in our Costpoint accounting system, SOX auditing assistance, project analysis and reconciliation, and document retention. Due to the nature of work performed within this facility, U.S. citizenship is required.

What You’ll Work On

• Perform set-up and maintenance of contracts in compliance with contractual terms, conditions, and requirements in our Costpoint accounting system.
• Support multiple program tasks simultaneously while prioritizing efforts with strict timelines to ensure service levels are met.
• Reconcile contract modifications against Costpoint records.
• Participate in contract kick-off meetings.
• Work closely with Contract Administrators, Project Control, and Program Managers to solve set-up challenges.
• Support external and internal audit teams with gathering documents.

You Have

• 2+ years of experience in government contracts billing
• Experience with Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, prioritize multiple tasks at a given time, and rapidly adapt to changing priorities and schedules
• Ability to follow instructions and work independently
• HS diploma or GED

• Experience using Deltek Costpoint billing module
• Experience using VLOOKUP and PivotTable functions in Excel

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $53,000.00 to $108,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees.
