UCI Health in Orange County seeks a dedicated support specialist to assist the Shared Business Office and PFS operations. You will assemble pre-billing files, locate billing documents, verify authorizations, and prepare patient payment files to streamline cash flows.
The role also involves routine patient accounting tasks, maintaining account systems, and may include a front desk reception duty with cash payments handling. Prior billing knowledge is preferred.

Incumbent is responsible for performing a range of tasks that support the Shared Business Office and PFS operations such as: assemble pre-billing files. sort, locate and retrieve billing documents and patient account files. assist with routine telephone inquiries. utilize on-line systems to verify authorizations. prepare patient payment files. perform routine patient accounting functions. and maintain patient account systems. Performs general support duties including copying, filing, sorting, stapling and document delivery. May perform reception role at front desk on a regular and/or temporarily assigned basis and may receive and record cash and check payments as part of this role.
