Job summary

Lamar Advertising Company in Des Moines, IA is hiring for an entry-level, full-time On-site Operations role to install and maintain billboards across Des Moines and surrounding areas. You’ll work with training and equipment provided, prioritizing safety and efficient scheduling.

The position pays an hourly rate of $20–$22, offers 120 hours of PTO, 12 company holidays, and comprehensive benefits including medical plans and a 401k with company match.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Valid driver’s license required.
• OSHA 10-hour Construction course required.
• CDL and Non-CDL licenses are a plus.
• Previous experience at heights up to 200 ft preferred.

Responsibilities

• Install and maintain billboards.
• Handle vinyls and flexes and install copies on billboards.
• Perform maintenance: tighten bolts, paint structures, replace lights.
• Capture completion photos for proof of installation.
• Maintain a clean workspace and follow safety rules.
