Job summary

National Youth Advocate Program seeks a dedicated transportation coordinator to support reunification efforts for youth. Responsibilities include organizing travel, supervising youth in transit, maintaining rosters and safety records, and coordinating with medical and clinical staff for transport needs.

The role requires travel, strong communication, and a commitment to the program's mission. A valid license and experience with at-risk youth are essential, along with bilingual English/Spanish

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• Experience working with at-risk youth.
• Bilingual English/Spanish fluency is required.
• Excellent time management and organization skills.
• Excellent written and oral skills.
• Pass agility and strength evaluation.
• Valid driver’s license, reliable transportation and good driving record.
• Proficient use of computers and standard software.

Responsibilities

• Travel out of state up to 40–50% for reunification efforts.
• Coordinate transportation and supervise youth in transit to appointments.
• Provide safety training and maintain transport documentation.
• Maintain rosters, logs and weekly reports on travel and outings.
• Ensure vehicle upkeep, fueling, cleanliness and security.
• Support CPI and CPR training; participate in safety initiatives.
• Carry out duties as assigned to support the program mission.
