Job summary

The Chronicle Of Higher Education, Inc. is looking for a Professional Writing & English Language Tutor. In this role, you will support undergraduate and graduate students through one-on-one tutoring and workshops, both in person and online. Candidates must possess a Master's Degree in English or a related field along with TESOL certification and a commitment to justice and diversity.

This position is on Suffolk's downtown Boston campus, and excellent communication skills are essential. Experience with appointment management platforms is a plus.

Qualifications

• Master's Degree or higher in English or related field required.
• TESOL certification or equivalent experience necessary for language tutoring roles.
• Demonstrated commitment to diversity and inclusion in tutoring.

Responsibilities

• Tutor students in writing or English language, in person or online.
• Facilitate English language workshops as assigned.
• Maintain appointment tracking notes for all tutoring sessions.
