EDS Service Solutions is looking for a highly organized, detail-driven, and dependable Workers Compensation Claims Administrative Assistant to join our Risk Management team in Atlanta.
This is more than a data-entry position. You'll play an important role in keeping our workers compensation claims process organized, accurate, timely, and compliant. From maintaining claim records and coordinating documentation to tracking deadlines and communicating with employees, insurance carriers, medical providers, and third-party administrators, your work will directly support our employees and Risk Management operations.

Accurately enter and maintain workers' compensation claim information in company databases and claims management systems.
Review claim documentation for completeness, accuracy, and required information.
Organize, scan, upload, and maintain electronic claim files and supporting documentation.
Track claim status, deadlines, outstanding items, and required follow-up actions.
Maintain accurate records while following company policies and confidentiality requirements.
Process incoming correspondence, medical reports, invoices, and other claim-related documentation.
Assist with incident reports, First Reports of Injury (FROI), and other required claim documentation.
Prepare claim packets, reports, and supporting documentation for management review.
Generate reports and assist with audits and compliance requests.
Ensure claim files remain organized, current, and audit-ready.
Communicate professionally with employees, supervisors, insurance carriers, medical providers, and third-party administrators.
Follow up on missing or outstanding documentation.
Coordinate information throughout the claims process to help keep cases moving efficiently.
Handle confidential and sensitive information with professionalism and discretion.
Manage filing, email correspondence, scheduling, document organization, and general administrative tasks.
Support the Risk Management team with special projects and additional administrative needs.
Help identify opportunities to improve organization, documentation, and workflow efficiency.
We're looking for someone who is organized, accountable, detail-oriented, and ready to grow.
2+ years of experience in administrative support, data entry, claims administration, insurance, or a related office environment.
Strong data entry skills with a high level of accuracy.
Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, Outlook, and Word.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
Ability to handle confidential and sensitive information professionally.
Familiarity with electronic document management and recordkeeping systems.
High School Diploma or GED required; Associate's degree is a plus.
Experience with workers' compensation or insurance claims processing.
Experience using claims management systems.
Knowledge of workers' compensation documentation and claims administration procedures.
Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
Customer service experience working with employees, vendors, or external partners.
Bilingual English/Spanish is a plus.
