Job summary

Express Employment Professionals on 61st and Center is recruiting for a bilingual Warehouse Lead to join a manufacturing company in South Omaha. This role requires fluency in English and Spanish and will operate on the 2nd shift in a cold storage environment.

You will oversee all warehouse operations, including receiving, storing and shipping, while coordinating shifts and leading a team to ensure efficient, cost-conscious processes.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in warehouse management, preferably in a distribution center.
• Strong knowledge of transportation management systems, freight, and other operations.
• Proficient in operations management principles, including demand planning and production planning.
• Solid understanding of inventory control techniques and best practices.
• Familiarity with warehouse management systems for efficient inventory tracking.
• Excellent leadership skills with the ability to train, motivate, and supervise a team.
• Strong problem-solving abilities with the capacity to make sound decisions under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and manage all warehouse operations, including receiving, storing, and shipping of products.
• Schedule and organize shifts according to supervisors.
• Develop and implement efficient warehouse processes and procedures to optimize productivity and minimize costs.
• Ensure accurate inventory control and proper stock rotation.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop demand planning and production planning strategies.
• Monitor transportation management systems to ensure timely delivery of goods.
• Other duties as assigned.
