Job summary

West Coast Dental Administrative Services Llc in Ontario, CA seeks a motivated Specialty Dental Assistant to join our specialty team. The role supports doctors, prepares operatories, sterilizes instruments, and helps deliver safe, high-quality dental care across multiple locations.

You will greet patients, assist during procedures, manage supplies, ensure OSHA and HIPAA compliance, and work with front and back office teams to maintain smooth schedules.

Qualifications

• Minimum one year of recent experience as a Specialty Assistant preferred.
• Valid California RDA license and/or CA RDA certificate required or certificate from accredited Dental Assisting School preferred.
• Bilingual: English & Spanish required (in some offices English only is acceptable).
• CPR and First-Aid certification required.
• Infection Control Certificate required (DA Only).
• Ability to obtain an NPI (RDA Only).
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work with people of all ages and in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Prepare trays and operatories for procedures.
• Assist doctors during procedures and keep operatories stocked and clean.
• Greet patients and prepare them for treatment; ensure charts and health questionnaires are up to date.
• Maintain and order specialty supplies with supervision coordination.
• Follow OSHA, HIPAA, and dental board regulations at all sites.
• Travel with Specialty Team to multiple Company locations as needed.
• Coordinate with front and back office to keep the schedule running smoothly.
