Job summary

Fiesta Mart in Cypress, Texas, is hiring a Tortilleria Clerk to support the tortilla department and customer service. You will help with display rotation, masa preparation and a variety of tortillas in a fast-paced grocery setting.

Candidates should be bilingual (English/Spanish) and capable of lifting up to 60 pounds. Food handler certification is required and a friendly, community-focused attitude is essential.

Qualifications

• Bilingual English/Spanish required for customer interactions and team communication.
• Read and comprehend simple instructions, product pricing codes, and labels.
• Write simple correspondence and communicate clearly with customers and coworkers.
• Present information effectively in one‑on‑one and small group settings.
• Must be able to lift and move up to 60 pounds, and be comfortable standing for long periods.

Responsibilities

• Provide friendly customer service and assist visitors at the Tortilleria display.
• Clean, fill and rotate tortilla displays and support masa preparation.
• Assist making a variety of tortillas and masa for the department.
• Maintain store cleanliness and safety in a fast paced grocery environment.
• Follow food handling guidelines and complete required certifications.
