Responsibilities

Our Retail Bankers are the face of our organization and are vital in caring for our customers daily. As a Retail Banker, you will receive training to successfully engage and enhance the customer experience by offering products and services that meet their needs. This role prepares you for advancement and a robust career in banking at Woodforest. Key responsibilities include:

1. Achieving individual sales by proactively identifying, marketing, and recommending bank products and services beneficial to customers.
2. Processing transactions, opening accounts, and performing account maintenance.
3. Handling branch servicing duties such as vault balancing, cash ordering, and maintenance of ATMs.
4. Employing problem-solving skills to address customer inquiries and concerns in line with the Woodforest Experience training.

Minimum Qualifications/Experience

• At least 1 year of relevant sales and/or customer service experience, or equivalent college education or volunteer service.
• Previous in-store banking experience is preferred but not required.
• Must be positive and engaging.
• Fluent in English and Spanish.

Formal Education & Certification

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.

Work Status

• Full-time.

Supervisory Responsibility

• None.

Travel

• Minimal overnight travel; may include covering nearby branch locations up to 45 miles from the assigned branch.

Working Conditions

• Primarily standing, with walking, moving, bending, sitting, and occasional lifting up to 30 lbs.
