Job summary

Founders Federal Credit Union in Pageland, SC, is seeking a Regular Full-Time Teller to serve members with accurate cash handling and friendly service.

This role requires ability to perform computer transactions, explain services, open accounts, and comply with BSA regulations; bilingual English/Spanish encouraged.

Hours are Monday–Thursday 8 a.m.–5 p.m. and Friday 8 a.m.–6 p.m. A competitive benefits package is provided by FFCU.

Qualifications

• Previous cash-handling or teller experience preferred.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Ability to type and efficiently operate a PC and calculator.
• Strong capacity to learn and apply knowledge of all credit union services.
• Bilingual English/Spanish applicants strongly encouraged to apply.

Responsibilities

• Maintain individual cash box.
• Perform computer transactions for members according to procedures set forth in the Teller manual.
• Supply members with information on interest rates, savings accounts, certificates, or any services offered by the credit union.
• Be courteous and make a concentrated effort to recognize each member on sight.
• Sell our services and compare them with other financial institutions.
• Handle the complex accounts of credit union members accurately.
• Open new accounts and process payroll deductions.
• Compliance with applicable statutes and regulations including, but not limited to, BSA.
• All other duties as assigned.
