Job summary

Lone Star National Bank in Brownsville, TX, seeks a Teller I for a part-time role that delivers exceptional customer service and accurately processes transactions. The position is based at Port of Brownsville and requires a bilingual English/Spanish speaker.

You will handle deposits, withdrawals, transfers, loan payments, and other routine teller tasks while maintaining cash drawer accuracy and complying with federal regulations and bank policies. Training provided.

Qualifications

High school diploma or GED required.
Prior cash-handling experience required.
Ability to recall and apply detailed procedures.
Strong attention to detail and accuracy on repetitive tasks.
Ability to follow multi-step processes within guidelines.
Reliable and trustworthy with cash and confidential information.
Bilingual in English and Spanish required.
Flexible schedule including Mondays–Fridays and rotating Saturdays.

Responsibilities

Provide welcoming service and communicate professionally with customers and team.
Process teller transactions accurately and efficiently.
Balance cash drawer and reconcile cash at end of shift.
Meet banking center goals and referral targets.
Adhere to banking regulations, policies, and audit controls.
Participate in training and bank-wide programs.
Monitor for suspicious activity per policy.
