The Illinois Association of School Administrators seeks a bilingual/ESL teacher to develop students' English language skills and support learning to reach grade-level standards. You will plan lessons, deliver instruction, and manage a classroom while collaborating with parents and district staff.
Responsibilities include data collection, adhering to policies, and ensuring safe, effective instruction aligned with state and federal education laws.
Under the direction of the Principal, the Bilingual teacher provides specialized services and support to students for the purpose/s of developing the students' ability to effectively perform courses of study in the English language andwill guide students in gaining the knowledge and skills necessary to achieve at or above grade level. Teachers will plan lessons, provide instruction, manage the classroom in a manner that is conducive to learning, as well as demonstrate fairness and respect with students. The teacher will work with parents/guardians, as well as district support personnel to provide appropriate support to students. The teacher will perform professional responsibilities in a manner that is in compliance with Board policy, as well as adhering to state and federal laws regarding public education.

SALARY:$48,000 - $113,997
