Qualifications

• BSc in Accounting or Finance; CMA/CPA bonus noted.

Responsibilities

BILINGUAL Tax Preparer

We are looking for an experienced BILINGUAL SPANISH - ENGLISH Tax Preparer to help our company with organizing tax payments and returns. Your responsibilities will include organizing and maintaining records of tax payments, as well as recommending tax strategies and best practices to promote our company's financial well-being and ensuring full compliance with legal regulations.

Successful candidates should be interested in following updates to tax rules and laws. You should also have excellent time management skills and be able to meet tight deadlines.

Bilingual Tax Preparer responsibilities are:

• Process tax payments together with necessary documentation for tax payments and returns

• Estimate and organize tax returns

• Analyze tax savings and develop propositions to increase profits

• Create quarterly and annual tax reports

• Develop recommendations for tax strategies to optimize the business model

• Manage the company's tax database

• Interact with the accounting department to share financial data

• Monitor industry trends and changes in the taxes area

• Interact with internal and external auditors

• Prepare forecasts on tax changes and present them to company's executives and top managers

Tax Preparer requirements are:

• 3+ years' experience of working on a Tax Accountant, Tax Analyst or Tax Preparer position

• Profound experience with accounting and bookkeeping procedures

• Good knowledge of accounting software packages

• Good level of computer literacy, particularly with MS Excel

• Strong mathematical, analytical and time management skills

• Accuracy and close attention to detail

• BSc degree in Accounting, Finance or another relevant area; industry certification (such as CMA or CPA) will be a bonus
