Job summary

Nox Group is seeking a Talent Acquisition Specialist to support high-volume recruitment for large-scale construction projects across multiple markets. The role focuses on skilled trades including electricians, journeymen, apprentices, laborers, foremen, and other field personnel.

The candidate will partner with field leadership and hiring managers to build strong pipelines, screen candidates, and coordinate interviews and events to ensure staffing aligned with project timelines.

Responsibilities

  • Manage full-cycle recruiting for high-volume skilled trades and construction field roles.
  • Recruit and hire electricians, journeymen, apprentices, laborers, foremen and other craft professionals.
  • Partner with field operations leaders, project managers, and hiring managers to understand staffing needs.
  • Build and maintain active pipelines across multiple markets.
  • Source candidates via job boards, trade schools, unions, referrals, social media, and networking.
  • Conduct screenings to evaluate skills, certifications, eligibility, and fit for projects.
  • Leverage bilingual skills to engage English- and Spanish-speaking candidates.
  • Coordinate interviews, events, and campaigns to meet workforce demands.
  • Develop relationships with schools, workforce agencies, and industry associations.
  • Maintain candidate records and ATS entries; provide regular updates on pipeline health and timelines.
  • Promote employer brand within construction and skilled trades communities.

We are seeking a driven, resourceful, and relationship-focused Talent Acquisition Specialist to join our Recruiting Team and support hiring for large-scale construction projects across multiple markets. This role will focus heavily on high-volume recruitment of skilled trades professionals including electricians, journeymen, apprentices, laborers, foremen, and other field personnel supporting mission-critical and industrial construction projects.

This individual will serve as a strategic recruiting partner to field leadership and hiring managers, helping ensure projects are staffed with qualified talent to meet operational demands and project timelines.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage the full-cycle recruiting process for high-volume skilled trades and construction field positions.
  • Recruit and hire electricians, journeymen, apprentices, laborers, foremen, supervisors, and other craft professionals.
  • Partner closely with field operations leaders, project managers, and hiring managers to understand workforce needs and develop recruiting strategies.
  • Build and maintain active pipelines of qualified skilled trades candidates across multiple geographic markets.
  • Source candidates through job boards, trade schools, workforce development programs, union and non-union channels, community organizations, referrals, social media, and industry networking.
  • Conduct candidate screenings to evaluate skills, certifications, experience, work eligibility, and project fit.
  • Leverage bilingual communication skills to engage Spanish-speaking candidates and ensure an exceptional candidate experience.
  • Coordinate interviews, hiring events, job fairs, and recruiting campaigns to support workforce demands.
  • Develop relationships with local trade schools, workforce agencies, community organizations, and industry associations to expand talent pipelines.
  • Maintain regular communication with candidates throughout the hiring process, providing updates and ensuring a positive experience.
  • Collaborate with onboarding and operations teams to ensure a seamless transition from offer acceptance through project onboarding.
  • Track recruiting metrics and provide reporting on hiring activity, pipeline health, time-to-fill, and workforce trends.
  • Maintain accurate candidate records and recruiting activity within the Applicant Tracking System (ATS).
  • Promote the company's employer brand and culture within the construction and skilled trades community.
Qualifications
  • 2+ years of recruiting experience, preferably supporting construction, skilled trades, industrial, manufacturing, energy, or high-volume workforce environments.
  • Demonstrated success recruiting for field-based construction positions such as electricians, journeymen, apprentices, laborers, foremen, and other skilled trades roles.
  • Experience managing high-volume requisitions and hiring demands across multiple projects or locations.
  • Strong sourcing and networking skills with experience utilizing Indeed, LinkedIn Recruiter, trade-specific job boards, social media platforms, referrals, and community outreach.
  • Ability to build strong relationships with field leadership, hiring managers, and candidates.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Knowledge of construction workforce trends, labor markets, and recruiting best practices preferred.
  • Experience conducting hiring events, job fairs, and community-based recruiting initiatives.
  • Proficiency with Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) and Microsoft Office applications.
  • Ability to travel locally as needed to support hiring events, project sites, and workforce initiatives.
Required Language Skills
  • Fluent bilingual communication skills in both English and Spanish (written and verbal) are required.
  • Ability to effectively communicate, interview, and build relationships with English- and Spanish-speaking candidates, employees, and hiring managers.
Education & Experience
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field preferred; equivalent recruiting experience will be considered.
  • Construction, skilled trades, industrial staffing, workforce development, or field recruiting experience strongly preferred.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience recruiting for electrical contractors, data center construction, mission-critical projects, commercial construction, industrial construction, or specialty trades organizations.
  • Familiarity with workforce development programs, apprenticeship programs, and trade school partnerships.
  • Experience supporting rapid workforce ramp-ups for large-scale construction projects.
