Point72 Asset Management, L.P. is seeking an Intelligence Surveillance Analyst to conduct routine trade and communications surveillance and provide timely, well‑written analysis for senior management in Stamford, CT.

The role requires Japanese proficiency, a bachelor’s degree (master’s preferred), and 2+ years in intelligence or related work. You will work to identify, escalate, and respond to regulatory and internal policy concerns with discretion and integrity.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in Japanese is required.
• Bachelor’s degree; master’s degree preferred; 2+ years in intelligence analyst or related role.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills with excellent attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Conduct routine trade surveillance and investigations.
• Conduct routine communication surveillance for potential violations of securities laws and Firm policies, escalating suspicious events.
• Craft intelligent questions and scope research to produce sophisticated analyses and risk insights.
• Use structured analytic techniques to improve analysis and challenge assumptions.
• Collaborate with managers to respond to information requests from financial regulators and senior management.
• Serve as a subject matter expert in assigned coverage and stay updated on regulations and best practices.
• Leverage tools and information to minimize risk and protect the firm.
