Job summary

GCP PAPER USA, Inc. is seeking a proactive Supply Chain & Purchasing Associate to support daily procurement, inventory, and MRO activities in a manufacturing environment.

The role emphasizes accurate PO processing, vendor coordination, and safe, organized warehouse operations. Ideal candidates have 0–3 years in purchasing support or inventory control, bilingual English/Spanish skills, and experience with ERP/WMS systems and Excel.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required; Bachelor’s/Associate degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, or Business Administration preferred.
• 0–3 years purchasing support, shipping/receiving, or inventory control in manufacturing or distribution.
• Bilingual English/Spanish required (verbal and written).
• Experience entering data into ERP/WMS platforms and Microsoft Excel.

Responsibilities

• Purchase Order Processing: review requisitions, create and issue POs for spare parts, tools, and plant supplies, track deliveries.
• Vendor & Quote Coordination: request quotes, follow up on orders, verify timelines, assist with invoice/shipping discrepancies.
• Inventory & MRO Control: assist with warehouse receiving, log parts in ERP/WMS, conduct routine cycle counts, proper binning.
• Scrap & Recycling Support: coordinate scrap metal and recyclable material collections with waste vendors.
• Warehouse Safety: maintain clean, organized warehouse per OSHA guidelines.
