Job summary

Acadia Healthcare's 10th Street CTC in Milwaukee, WI is seeking a bilingual Substance Use Counselor (SAC/SACIT/CSAC) for an outpatient MAT program to support recovery from Opioid Use Disorder. You will provide individual and group counseling, complete documentation, and coordinate care within a multidisciplinary team.

Qualifications

• Minimum of an Associate’s Degree in social or health services field is required.
• Bilingual Spanish is required.
• Experience in addiction recovery or behavioral health settings preferred.
• Familiarity with MAT (methadone, buprenorphine, naltrexone).
• Knowledge of CBT, MI, relapse prevention.
• Documentation of clinical notes and treatment plans per guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Provide high quality, compassionate guidance in individual and group counseling sessions.
• Plan, oversee, facilitate and document patient recovery.
• Co-facilitate group or family sessions as needed.
• Ensure timely and clear documentation of patient care and incidents.
• Prepare individual treatment plans and conduct assessments.
• Initial and follow-up assessments; determine referrals when needed.
• Plan for aftercare; provide crisis intervention as needed.
• Conduct case management and liaise with referral sources.
