Grocery Services South, LLC. is hiring a Store Clerk for our McAllen, TX location. The role focuses on friendly customer service at the checkout, stocking shelves, and maintaining a clean, organized store to ensure a positive shopping experience.

Qualifications include a high school diploma or equivalent and the ability to communicate in English and Spanish. Previous retail experience is a plus, with a teamwork-oriented attitude and strong attention to detail.

Qualifications

• Retail or store clerk experience is a plus.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Excellent communication skills in both English and Spanish (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Inventory Management: Order merchandise based on inventory levels and demand, check expiration dates, rotate stock, and conduct occasional physical inventories.
• Customer Assistance: Provide service at checkout, assist customers with products, and process payments via cash, SNAP, or WIC cards.
• Stocking & Merchandising: Unpack, stock, and organize shelves to keep areas visually appealing.
• Store Maintenance: Maintain cleanliness of counters, shelves, floors, and bathrooms.
• Team Support: Assist store manager and teammates with duties to ensure smooth operations.
