Job description

Store associates work closely with wholesale and retail customers to determine their needs, answer questions about Sherwin-Williams products, and recommend appropriate solutions. They are expected to resolve customer concerns promptly, ensure maximum client satisfaction, stay updated on product features, and maintain high standards of product quality and store appearance.

Store associates will have contact with customers, including minors, and access to cash, electronic equipment, personal information, merchandise, and other valuables. To protect the business, its reputation, and the safety of customers, staff, vendors, contractors, and the public, a review of criminal history may be conducted.

The role may require working at stores within a 25-mile radius of Store #705125 located at 366 Saint Georges Ave, Rahway, NJ 07065-2840.

Qualifications

Minimum Requirements:

• Must be at least 18 years old
• Legally authorized to work in the country without sponsorship
• Ability to read, write, understand, and communicate in English and Spanish
• Valid, unrestricted Driver’s License
• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs. frequently and 70 lbs. occasionally, with or without reasonable accommodations
• Willingness to work scheduled hours, including evenings and weekends

Preferred Qualifications:

• High School diploma or GED
• At least one year of experience in delivery, retail, or customer service
• Experience selling paint and related products
• Experience operating tinting and mixing equipment
