Job description

Store associates work closely with wholesale and retail customers to determine their needs, answer their questions about Sherwin-Williams products, and recommend the right solutions. Store associates are also expected to promptly resolve any customer concerns and ensure maximum client satisfaction, while staying up-to-date with product features and maintaining high quality and visual standards of the products and store.

Job duties involve contact with customers, which may include minors; and access to cash, electronic equipment, personal information, store merchandise, and other items of value. Access may be supervised or unsupervised. The Company reviews criminal history to protect its operations, reputation, and the safety of customers, staff, employees, vendors, contractors, and the public.

The individual selected for this role will work at Stores within a 12-mile radius of store #3459, located at 107-20 Atlantic Avenue, Queens 11416.

Qualifications

Minimum Requirements:

• Must be at least 18 years old
• Legally authorized to work in the country without sponsorship
• Able to read, write, comprehend, and communicate in English and Spanish
• Valid, unrestricted Driver’s License
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. frequently and 70 lbs. on occasion, with or without reasonable accommodations
• Willing to work all scheduled hours, including evenings and weekends

Preferred Qualifications:

• High School diploma or GED
• At least one year of experience in delivery, retail, or customer service
• Experience selling paint and related products
• Experience operating tinting and mixing equipment
