Job summary

Surge Staffing in Columbus, OH is seeking a motivated Bilingual Staffing Specialist (English/Spanish) to join our team in a full-time internal role. You will deliver excellent service to clients and temporary employees, recruit, screen, interview, and onboard candidates, and build relationships in a fast-paced staffing environment.

The ideal candidate is fluent in English and Spanish, has at least 1 year of sales experience, and can multitask across recruitment, HR, and business development

Qualifications

• Fluent in English and Spanish.
• Minimum 1 year of sales experience.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Experience in recruiting, staffing, HR, customer service, or business development preferred.
• Leadership or supervisory experience is a plus.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office.
• Willingness to travel locally as needed.

Responsibilities

• Deliver exceptional service to clients and temporary employees in English and Spanish.
• Recruit, screen, interview, and onboard qualified candidates.
• Source candidates through job boards, databases, referrals, and platforms.
• Match candidate skills with client staffing needs.
• Build and maintain relationships with clients and temporary staff.
• Conduct follow-up calls to ensure satisfaction and placements.
• Support Spanish-speaking applicants and employees throughout hiring and onboarding.
• Generate and develop new business opportunities through sales and networking.
• Perform client service calls and outside visits to grow partnerships.
• Promote Surge Staffing services and identify staffing solutions.
• Assist with data entry and branch operations.
• Support coaching, performance management, and retention efforts.
