Job summary

EOS Accountants LLP seeks a Staff Accountant to develop expertise in accounting principles and auditing procedures for client engagements. You will understand client operations, post entries, prepare reconciliations, and support reporting packages in client formats.

Teleworking is available with a full-time, exempt schedule. The ideal candidate holds an undergraduate degree in accounting, CPA license or eligibility, strong Excel/Word skills, and excellent communication.

Qualifications

• Undergraduate degree in Accounting or related field.
• CPA license or eligible to sit for CPA exam.
• Strong accounting and analytical skills.
• Proficient with Excel and Word.
• Excellent interpersonal, oral and written communication skills.
• Japanese language proficiency required.

Responsibilities

• Understand client’s business, post entries.
• Identify and record necessary transactions.
• Prepare reconciliations for main accounts.
• Prepare client reporting packages in client formats.
• Assist external auditors’ requests and client compliance needs.
• Assist in compilation engagements per SSARS21.
