Job summary

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in speech-language pathology from an accredited program.
• Valid Texas license as an SLP and ASHA CCC.
• Fluent in English and Spanish; bilingual certification or proficiency.

Responsibilities

• Plan and provide individual and group therapy aligned to IEP goals.
• Evaluate progress and determine readiness for termination of therapy services.
• Conduct independent evaluations to determine service eligibility.
• Collaborate with classroom teachers and involve parents in remediation.
• Coordinate continuing evaluation of services and equipment needs.
• Comply with district policies and maintain required reports.
