AVONDALE ELEMENTARY SCHOOL DISTRICT is seeking a Bilingual Speech-Language Pathologist for a ten-month, exempt position. The role includes a $1,000 stipend and a $750 sign-on compensation prorated by hire date.

Qualified candidates hold a Bachelor's or Master's in Speech-Language Pathology, AZ licensure, and a valid AZ IVP fingerprint clearance card. The successful applicant will screen and evaluate students, participate in CST/MET/IEP meetings, and develop IEP goals with appropriate

Qualifications

Bachelors/Masters in Speech-Language Pathology required.
Arizona licensure from the Arizona Department of Health Services (ADHS).
Arizona IVP Fingerprint Clearance Card required.
Must pass a background check upon employment.

Responsibilities

Screen and evaluate referred students per state and federal requirements.
Attend Child Study Team (CST), Multidisciplinary Evaluation Team (MET), and IEP meetings.
Develop speech-language IEP goals, objectives, and accommodations.
Complete state and federal paperwork within required timelines.
Provide individual and group speech-language services per IEP.
Prepare quarterly progress reports for each student.
Complete MEDICAID reports and requirements on time.
Participate in district training as appropriate.
Perform other duties as assigned by the Director of Special Services.
