Job summary

Edlogical Group, a member of Point Quest Group, is seeking a Speech Language Pathologist to provide services in a K-12 school setting in Los Angeles, CA for the 2026-2027 school year. The role is full-time with compensation of 65-70 per hour plus a placement bonus up to $5,000.

The SLP will conduct assessments, develop treatment plans, deliver direct therapy, and collaborate with teachers and families to support student outcomes. Bilingual Spanish preferred; CFs and retirees encouraged to apply.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
• DOJ/FBI Live Scan background and TB clearance.
• Strong organizational and interpersonal skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication.
• Bilingual in Spanish.

Responsibilities

• Conduct formalized assessments to determine eligibility and level of functioning.
• Develop and coordinate treatment plans with interdisciplinary team members.
• Provide direct speech therapy services aligned with IEP goals.
• Complete and maintain compliant IEPs; participate in reviews.
• Consult with teachers and families to support generalization of communication skills.
• Maintain therapy notes, assessment data, and progress documentation.
• Supervise SLPAs and monitor supervision hours if applicable.

About the Role:

Provide speech and language therapy services to students in K-12 school settings. You'll conduct assessments, develop treatment plans, and deliver direct therapy to help students improve communication skills and access their education. This role collaborates closely with teachers, families, and multidisciplinary teams to maximize student outcomes.

What You'll Do:

• Conduct formalized and dynamic assessments to determine eligibility and level of functioning
• Ability to conduct Speech Assests in Spanish.
• Develop and coordinate treatment plans with interdisciplinary team members
• Provide direct speech therapy services aligned with IEP goals
• Complete and maintain compliant IEPs; participate in annual and triennial reviews
• Consult with teachers and families to support generalization of communication skills
• Maintain accurate therapy notes, assessment data, and progress documentation
• Supervise and support SLPAs, including monitoring supervision hours (if applicable)

What We’re Looking For:

Must Have:

• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Sciences and Disorders from an accredited program.
• DOJ/FBI Live Scan background and TB clearance
• Strong organizational and interpersonal skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication
• Bilingual in Spanish

Preferred:

• One year of experience in speech therapy
• Department of Education certification
• Knowledge of evidence-based practices and special education programs
• Experience with school-based caseload management
