Hardin ISD's Hardin Elementary in Liberty, Texas is seeking an Elementary Special Education and BiLingual Support Para Educator to support students’ study habits, behavior skills, and self-image in a positive learning environment.

The role coordinates student progress, assists teachers, and ensures smooth operation of instructional activities in ISS and other settings. Strong communication, organization, and teamwork are essential for success.

Qualificações

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Associates degree or higher preferred.
• TEA Paraprofessional Certificate required (will apply for certificate on employment) or 48 college hours or Associates degree.

Responsabilidades

• Coordinates, provides, and supervises instructional and behavioral activities for students in ISS in-person environment.
• Coordinates assignments with classroom teachers and provides tutorial assistance as needed.
• Assists students in examining misbehavior and developing strategies to prevent reoccurrences.
• Communicates proactively with teachers to inform them of student issues and conversations with parents.
• Assists during standardized testing and with distribution of supplies and equipment.
• Performs other duties as assigned by an administrator.
