KIPP Texas Public Schools is seeking a full-time Instructional Aide to support classroom instruction at our Austin-area campuses. The role involves assisting teachers in instructional activities and supervising students, with a focus on students needing targeted support.

Prerequisites include a high school diploma or equivalent, and two years of college coursework or an associate's degree. Bilingual English/Spanish is a plus; strong communication and organization are essential.

Qualifications

• Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus.

• Ability to meet state/local assessment standards as applicable.

Responsibilities

• Work with students in instructional activities under direction of teachers.
• Assist with direct academic, functional and designed instructional activities.
• Tutor students and help with assignments or explanations.
• Supervise students in various school settings.
• Communicate regularly with teachers and parents about student progress.
• Possibly perform physical management techniques for students as needed.
• Provide clerical support to teachers as needed.
