Zusammenfassung

Toolkit Tutors is building an active in-person tutor network across NYC public schools. We staff tutors on a placement-by-placement basis and reach out when opportunities match your skills, availability, and language abilities.

Qualified candidates will typically hold a Bachelor's degree, have at least one year of teaching or tutoring experience, and demonstrate strong knowledge of core subjects plus instructional Spanish. DOE fingerprinting is preferred; commuting to school sites is expected.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution, completed (or near completion) with strong academic performance.
• At least one year of experience teaching or tutoring in a school setting.
• Strong knowledge of core content areas and Instructional-Level Spanish.
• Experience working in urban school communities and an understanding of common student challenges.
• Reliable, punctual, and committed to student growth.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to engage students.
• Ability to commute to school sites across NYC.
• DOE fingerprint clearance strongly preferred.
