Job summary

Apploi in Brooklyn, NY is seeking bilingual Spanish Speech Therapists to provide assessment and therapy for children, full or part time. Therapists will work under general direction with IEP/IFSP guidance and collaborate with parents and school teams.

Responsibilities include evaluating, planning interventions, documenting progress, and communicating with families. NY State licensure and ASHA CCC are required; bilingual Spanish is essential.

Qualifications

• Master's Degree in Speech and Language Pathology.
• ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competency.
• NYSED Certification as a TSHH or TSSLD.
• Bilingual Spanish required.
• One year of Speech Therapy experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provides speech and language assessment and therapy under IEP/IFSP guidance.
• Analyzes test results and prepares written summaries for regulatory bodies.
• Plans and conducts interventions aligned with established goals.
• Implements procedures to evaluate and monitor progress as required.
• Provides therapy progress reports to families and team members.
• Communicates regularly with parents/guardians in writing or verbally.
• Participates in team meetings and case conferences as required.
• Utilizes AAC devices appropriately and stays current on techniques.
• Completes all required documentation accurately and promptly.
