Job summary

Clarvida is seeking a Bilingual Spanish Peer Support Specialist in California. This full-time role provides individualized, recovery-oriented peer support, leveraging lived experience to build trust and promote self-determination.

You will mentor clients, coordinate care with the treatment team, and help them achieve recovery goals in community and program settings. Responsibilities include advocating for clients, assisting with daily living skills, and documenting care in compliance with HIPAA

Qualifications

• Fluent in Spanish required.
• Lived experience as a consumer or family/friend of someone using services.
• Strong organizational and interpersonal skills.
• Basic to intermediate computer skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide mentoring and peer support in community and program settings.
• Help clients develop daily living skills and access resources.
• Transport clients as needed using own vehicle.
• Provide advocacy and coordination with treatment teams.
• Support client problem-solving and personal recovery goals.
• Coordinate and facilitate social or group activities.
• Collaborate with team members to support treatment goals with lived-experience insights.
• Maintain accurate documentation per company and regulatory standards.
• Ensure HIPAA compliance and professional boundaries.
• Participate in program activities and other duties as assigned.
