Territory is in Knoxville, TN. Must reside in Knoxville, TN or be within 45 minutes of the territory. Bilingual in Spanish to assist with customers within the area is required.

Job Summary:

Responsible for developing independent account business, focusing on profitability through new sales and account penetration. Promote and sell company-branded products, meet sales objectives, and support customer service activities for regional and/or national chain customers to increase market share. Collaborate with team members and perform duties to serve the company effectively.

Job Responsibilities:
  • Generate additional business by analyzing sales territory and customers, sampling products, planning sales strategies, and conducting sales presentations.
  • Grow sales and profit margins to meet goals.
  • Set up new customer accounts, determine pricing, and coordinate with Credit Department and other personnel for order processing and delivery. Follow up to ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Ensure customer satisfaction through excellent service, coordinating with center personnel, and making deliveries if needed.
  • Expand business with current customers through product penetration to maximize profitability.
  • Monitor accounts for credit compliance and follow up on issues to minimize receivables problems.
  • Stay aware of pricing trends within the territory, especially for market-driven products.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
  • High School Diploma/GED or equivalent
  • 1 year restaurant management (GM or kitchen manager) and/or 1 year marketing, business development, outside sales, or hospitality experience
  • Valid Driver’s License with a clean MVR
  • Must reside in Knoxville, TN or within 45 minutes of the territory
