Job summary

WorldKids School North Raleigh is seeking a Bilingual Spanish Associate Teacher to partner with Lead Teachers for children aged 12 months through 5 years. You will help run daily rhythms, support small-group and center activities in Spanish, and ensure environments are safe, clean, and joyful.

The role requires strong conversational Spanish, a high school diploma (and possibly an ECE degree). NC DCDEE background clearance and CPR/First Aid certifications are required or onboarding‑ready.

Qualifications

• Must be able to communicate in Spanish with children and collaborate with team.
• High school diploma or equivalent required; further degree in ECE preferred.
• Background clearance including NC DCDEE check and fingerprinting.
• Pediatric CPR and First Aid certifications (or willingness to obtain during onboarding).

Responsibilities

• Support Lead Teacher by setting up materials and guiding small-group activities.
• Assist daily routines and circle time, maintaining safe and joyful spaces.
• Reinforce language development through Spanish during activities and transitions.
• Help maintain classroom centers, materials, and learning spaces in a clean, organized state.
• Monitor safety and supervise children to meet licensing ratios.
