Ivy Day School is seeking a caring Bilingual English/Spanish Helper to join our team. This role offers hands-on experience in Early Childhood Education and collaboration with experienced teachers.

Schedule is Monday–Friday, 9:00 AM–3:30 PM, with responsibilities including supervising children, supporting lesson plans, and maintaining a clean, safe classroom environment. College students pursuing education are encouraged to apply.

Qualifications

• Some experience working or volunteering with children under 5 years old.
• Interest in Early Childhood Education or studying it.
• Ability to work well in a team and follow guidance from teachers.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Head Teacher with supervising children.
• Help implement daily lesson plans and classroom activities.
• Support children’s daily routines and learning activities.
• Maintain classroom cleanliness and hygiene.
• Serve meals and assist children during mealtimes.
• Supervise bathroom use and assist with toileting.
• Assist with diaper changes when needed.
• Help maintain a safe, nurturing classroom environment.
• Provide support to teachers and children throughout the day.

Are you a College student interested in Early Childhood Education? Looking for hands-on experience working with young children while continuing your studies? This is a great opportunity to gain valuable classroom experience and work alongside experienced teachers.

Schedule: Monday–Friday, 9:00 AM–3:30 PM

Responsibilities Include:

• Assist the Head Teacher with supervising children

• Support children’s daily routines and learning

Desired Qualifications:

• Ability to work well as part of a team

Employment Requirements:

The selected candidate will be required to complete:

• Required workshops and trainings
