Bedford Center for Nursing and Rehabilitation, part of The Allure Group, seeks a Cantonese or Mandarin speaking Social Worker to join our Brooklyn, NY skilled nursing facility team. You will advocate for residents, coordinate social services, and collaborate with staff to address medical, social, and emotional needs.

Qualifications include a Bachelor's degree in Social Work and bilingual ability in Cantonese or Mandarin. Experience in a SNF is preferred. Competitive pay and benefits are offered.

• Bi-lingual Cantonese and/or Mandarin required.

Responsibilities

• Ensure that the medical, social, and emotional needs of each resident are provided for.
• Serve as a resident advocate and provide crisis intervention or counseling as needed.
• Coordinate planning of discharges with residents and families.
• Act as liaison to federal, state, and local agencies supporting residents.
