Job summary

The Illinois Association of School Administrators seeks a qualified Speech-Language Pathologist to deliver language interventions to students with speech and language disabilities in accordance with IEPs, across multiple schools within the assigned area.

You will evaluate progress, design instructional plans, collaborate with general education staff and families, and maintain required records while traveling between buildings.

Qualifications

• Must hold a Master’s Degree in Speech and Language Sciences or related field.
• Illinois Teaching Certification in Speech and Language Pathology.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Deliver quality language instruction/interventions to students with speech and language disabilities per IEPs.
• Assess students using formal and informal diagnostic instruments.
• Travel between schools within the assigned area and maintain required records.
• Evaluate progress against instructional objectives and manage IEP implementation.
• Coordinate instruction with general education staff and maintain classroom organization.
• Engage learners with differentiated instruction and monitor pacing and progress.
