Job summary

Illinois Department of Financial and Professional Regulation Speech-Language Pathologist License required.

Responsibilities

Prevention includes consultation, in-service training, and communication with parents and parent groups.
Identification includes pre-referral processes, screenings, and referrals for evaluation.
Assessment may include data collection, interpretation, report writing, sharing results with parents and staff, determining eligibility, and developing IEPs.
Intervention includes caseload management, direct remediation in school, pull-out services, collaboration with teachers, and ongoing goal documentation.
