Job summary

Responsibilities

  • Prevention includes consultation, in-service training, and communication with parents and parent groups.
  • Identification includes pre-referral processes, screenings, and referrals for evaluation.
  • Assessment may include data collection, interpretation, report writing, sharing results with parents and staff, determining eligibility, and developing IEPs.
  • Intervention includes caseload management, direct remediation in school, pull-out services, collaboration with teachers, and ongoing goal documentation.
